Composer Yevgeniy Lapeyko buried at the Second Christian Cemetery of Odessa.

Composer and musician Yevgeniy Lapeyko passed away. On April, 7, he was buried at the Second Christian Cemetery of Odessa.

On Aril, 5, composer Yevgeniy Lapeyko passed away because of a stroke. He was buried on April, 7, at the Second Christian Cemetery of Odessa.
The farewell ceremony took place in A. Ivanov Russian Drama Theater.
Yevgeniy Lapeyko (19.05.1952 — 5.04.2007) was the “Odessa Mechnikov State University Gentlemen Club” KVN team musical director, had been the “Province” rock band director.
He was one of Odessa’s rock movement. He was the author of “Young lady and Death”, “Romeo and Juliet” rock-operas, “Peppy”, “Viy” and “Stepan Razin” musicals. He wrote the “Tale of a Dead Princes and Seven Heroes” rock-opera together with Vladimir Kalle.
On May, 19, 2007, Yevgeniy Lapeyko would have become 55 years old…
