Representatives of Estonia handed rehabilitation equipment to Odessa city hospital. Photo

The Vice Mayor of Odessa Zinaida Tsvirinko and Vice Mayor of Tallinn Kalle Klandorf visited the city hospital ¹8. Photo

A delegation from Estonia, led by the Vice Mayor of Tallinn Kalle Klandorf visited Odessa in order to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation. During the visit, representatives of Tallinn and the Estonian Embassy in Ukraine together with the Deputy Mayor of Odessa Zinaida Tsvirinko visited the city hospital ¹8, where they handed new equipment - a modern simulator for rehabilitation THERA-Trainer tigo 530. According to Mr. Klandorf, simulator was purchased at the expense of the municipal budget of Tallinn, so it is a gift from the people of the city of Tallinn to the partner city of Odessa.


The vice-mayor of Odessa Zinaida Tsvirinko thanked the representatives of Tallinn for the gift and noted that the new simulator will be another one element of the implementation of a wide range of medical services and social assistance to the disabled people in Odessa.


The new simulator with a computer display is designed for different types of muscle training of arms and legs and allows effective rehabilitation of stroke patients, as well as people with paralysis of the upper and lower extremities, Parkinson's disease, muscle injuries, spinal cord injuries, rheumatic and cardiovascular diseases.
