Six schoolgirls from Odessa will present Odessa region at the International Olympiad in Polish language and literature

Pupils of the school number 121 will present Odessa at the national stage of International Olympiad in Polish language and literature in Khmelnytsky

This year the regional stage of annual International Olympiad in Polish language and literature was held at Odessa specialized school number 121 with profound study of foreign languages in February. Eleven pupils from Odessa schools number 80 and 121 became participants of Olimpiad.

Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw was the event organizer.

International Olympiad in Polish language and literature was held in several stages: the first stage – writing work, the second - oral. The participants were evaluated by the independent commission of teachers-polonists from Poland.

The winners of the regional stage of International Olympiad in Polish language and literature were awarded in Odessa specialized school number 121 on March 2, 2016.

The winners were awarded by the Consul General of Poland in Odessa Dariusz Szewczyk, Consul of the Republic of Poland in Odessa Petr Sebeneyhen, the senior assistants of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Odessa, teachers, members of the commission Sylvia Chihon and Bohuslav Barshch.

The republican stage of International Olympiad in Polish language and literature will be held in Khmelnytsky on March 12-13, 2016. Odessa region will be presented at the Olympiad by 6 pupils of Odessa school number 121.
